Let's get started !!
Here's the Design Team
MFP Stamp Shop

Today I decided to go with a couple of simple masculine cards for any occasion.  I don't know about you but my guys don't like a lot of "fluff" on their cards.

First up is a card dedicated to my hubby and late father.  Both enjoy cooking over the grill anytime of the year, but especially during the summer when the central valley usually is dealing with triple digit heat.  The less heat in the house the better.  After stamping images from Big TreesScenic Selections, and Tailgate Party, I colored everything using prismacolor and copic markers before stippling tumbled glass distress ink for the sky.

My second card features the News From The Woods set.  After stamping the trees background twice onto white card stock, I then stamped the saying and animal images onto scraps before coloring using copic markers and punching out to adhere with glue dots.

Enjoy the hop! Come back each day and let us take you to the Great Outdoors. Get to work on the tutorials! Show us what you made by July 8th and check back on July 8th and check back on July 9th, 2016 to see if you won!!

Stamps: MFP News From The Woods, Scenic Selections, Big Trees, Tailgate Party
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass
Card Stock: Stampin Up
Accessories: Stipple Brush, Glue Dots, Prismacolor and Copic Markers

  6. Great job on both cards today! I can relate to the grilling card.....we do most of our summertime cooking on the grill to keep the heat out of the house!!
